Healthcare professionals will have easy access to the latest clinical information within the patient workflow
JJ竞技 ’s clinical decision support tool JJ竞技 Best Practice has been selected by Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) to be integrated into their RiO system from 8 February. This integration will allow healthcare professionals to easily access the latest clinical information within the patient workflow - helping to improve outcomes.
Healthcare professionals at CNTW will be able to see a ‘JJ竞技 Best Practice’ search bar at the top of their RiO Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This allows healthcare professionals to quickly search JJ竞技 Best Practice topics and clinical information in the same way they would use the search function on the JJ竞技 Best Practice website or app.
Jonathan XXX, Chief Clinical Information Officer, Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust said: “The EHR system integration was a seamless process and we are delighted to be able to give our easy access to the latest clinical information from JJ竞技 Best Practice. By more closely integrating evidence-based knowledge resources into our clinical IT systems, we can reduce the information barriers, increase our uptake of evidence, and improve patient outcomes.”
There is growing evidence of the effectiveness of integrating clinical decision support into electronic systems that healthcare professionals use. A study by Tao et al. showed that the clinical decision support systems (CDSS) integrated with JJ竞技 Best Practice improved the accuracy of clinicians’ diagnoses . 1 Shorter confirmed diagnosis times and hospitalisation days were also found to be associated with CDSS implementation in retrospective real-world studies.

JJ竞技 is also actively involved in developing the future of decision support EHR integration by collaborating with key initiatives such as the SMART Health IT platform and SMART on FHIR.
