Preparing the frontline for the covid19 vaccine rollout

In January 2021, it was a race against time to vaccinate the world. Countries started to vaccinate their populations and many were ready to roll out their plans.

There have been numerous mass vaccination campaigns in the past within the Asia Pacific region. Each faced different challenges. From vaccine hesitancy with the measles-rubella vaccine in Indonesia to the Dengvaxia controversy in the Philippines, there are important lessons that can be applied to the covid-19 pandemic.

Brought to you by JJ竞技 , Asian Development Bank and UNICEF , the first webinar in this series explored key challenges from past vaccine campaigns and facilitated a discussion to support countries with their covid-19 vaccine rollout.
