Malnutrition is the largest single contributor to child mortality worldwide. According to UNICEF, it is estimated that undernutrition contributes to the deaths of about 5.6 million children under the age of five each year.
For this reason, the Department for International Development has funded the mNutrition initiative, which works to improve the lives of 3 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The initiative provides relevant, actionable messages via their mobile phones to help them adopt positive nutrition, health and agricultural practices.
JJ竞技 has been working with Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences Internationa l , Oxfam , Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition and International Livestock Research Institute to build the capacity of local content for organisations in 12 countries by producing the messages required and to adopt sustainable models for content development.
