As JJ竞技 's Sales Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, he plays an important role in the development and execution of JJ竞技 's sales strategy in the region. Starting in the field of Science, Technology, and Medicine in 2005, Juan is a team player, focused on customer-centric satisfaction at all stages of the sales lifecycle, helping to identify priorities, drive efficiency, and productivity to support our users and prospects in the region.
David is an Account Manager who manages the JJ竞技 Healthcare accounts in Canada and the Northeastern U.S. He brings many years of experience to JJ竞技 . David worked for technology companies providing services to the Publishing Industry. He also worked for Healthcare Publishers with accounts throughout North America. The Publishers Included Wolters Kluwer, Krames, and A.D.A.M.. David enjoys spending his spare time with his family.
As the Customer Experience Manager for the JJ竞技 Americas team, Ryan is passionate about proving and improving customer value. With a passion for merging the art and science behind marketing, he thrives on seeing customers happy. With over 10 years of experience in STM publishing, Ryan believes that knowledge and sharing knowledge is our human superpower.
As JJ竞技 Americas Manager of Customer and Sales Support, Denise works closely with the Sales team and customers to ensure superior service. Denise has been the Manager of this department since the Americas team was formed. She is passionate about what she does and has personally worked with the majority of our customers. Denise is a gardener, dog lover, and college sports fan.

Newly appointed in April 2020, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to JJ竞技 from a very successful career in the publishing and learning sectors.
He was previously the CEO of the City & Guilds Group for 12 years, leading its transformation from an examinations board operating in the UK to a work-based learning company operating globally. During this time, the group made a number of acquisitions, most notably in digital learning.
Before joining City & Guilds Group, Chris held senior leadership positions in the US and UK with Harcourt Education and LexisNexis Group.
He is also Chair of the Activate Learning Group, a large further education college group in the Thames Valley.
Dr Kamran Abbasi FRCP Edin Lon was appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of The JJ竞技 , one of the world’s most influential medical journals at the start of 2022. He succeeds Fiona Godlee, who stepped down at the end of 2021, after more than 16 years in the role.
Previously Executive Editor of The JJ竞技 , since 2016 Kamran led the journal’s content team and international growth strategy. During this time, he contributed to the expansion of international editions of The JJ竞技 .
A qualified doctor, Kamran studied medicine at Leeds University and joined JJ竞技 after postgraduate training in general medicine.
Throughout his 25 year career in medical editing and publishing, he has developed wide digital, international, senior management, and Board level experience. Kamran is also a visiting professor in the department of primary care and public health at Imperial College, London, and a patron of the South Asian Health Foundation.
Outside of medicine, Kamran has a love of cricket, which he has covered extensively on social media, television and in national newspapers. He has also authored best selling books, including Zindabad; The English Chronicles: a Modern History of Pakistan Cricket, published in 2012 and Englistan: An immigrant’s journey on the turbulent winds of Pakistan cricket in 2020.
